Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to provide exceptional technical assistance to end users, with a particular focus on supporting Japanese-speaking clients or employees. This role involves troubleshooting a variety of hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring seamless communication in both Japanese and English. This is a long-term contract position based in Mountain View, California, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive technical support for desktops, laptops, and other hardware systems, ensuring prompt resolution of user issues.
• Diagnose and resolve software-related problems, including installation, configuration, and updates.
• Provide specialized assistance to Japanese-speaking users, ensuring clear and effective communication in both Japanese and English.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues to maintain uninterrupted access to essential systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement solutions that enhance system performance and user experience.
• Maintain detailed records of support requests and resolutions to track recurring issues and improve processes.
• Conduct routine maintenance and updates for workstations to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up their devices and providing orientation on IT systems.
• Respond swiftly to emergency technical issues, minimizing downtime and disruption.
• Educate users on best practices for maintaining their hardware and software systems.• Proven experience in desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware systems and peripherals.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Familiarity with network configurations and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a user-focused approach.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
