You will be a part of HPB's Youth Preventive Service (YPS) Group, whose mission is to promote good health through early detection and early intervention, to reduce ill health among school-going children and youth. The services provided by the Group include health and dental screening, immunisation, and lifestyle intervention programmes.
Through effective programme planning and project management of the Grow Well SG initiative, you will be at the forefront of driving and shaping strategies that promote lifelong health and wellness for our younger generation. This includes strategic planning and monitoring of preventive health initiatives, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and upholding robust project management frameworks to advance national health priorities for children and youth.
[What you will be working on]
Job Responsibilities
As a key member of the Grow Well SG PMO team, you will (i) develop and maintain strategic relationships with inter-divisional stakeholders while coordinating cross-functional collaboration and information exchange to facilitate alignment of implementation priorities, (ii) manage comprehensive project management frameworks and support high-level reporting to management and key stakeholders, and (iii) drive the implementation and monitoring of child & youth national preventive health initiatives through effective tracking systems.
Specific activities include:
Conduct need-gap analysis in existing Grow Well SG (GWSG) projects to identify implementation gaps
Manage secretariat duties for key meeting platforms, including agenda curation, stakeholder coordination and meeting administration
Implement, maintain & continually improve project management processes, tools & templates to enhance efficiency and consistency
Monitor and coordinate GWSG key deliverables to ensure smooth delivery of programme milestones
Facilitate GWSG Service Design implementation across functional workstreams, including cross-divisional alignment, dependencies/gaps assessment and documentation of service blueprints and journey maps
Identify emerging trends and evidence in children and youth lifestyle and health interventions to inform programme sustainability and scalability
[What we are looking for]
Job Requirements
Join us if you are an energetic and adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in large-scale programme/project management, preferably in public sector or healthcare settings.
You should also possess:
Proficiency in project management tools, frameworks and methodologies
Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Strong stakeholder management capabilities and interpersonal skills, demonstrating success in building relationships and influencing at all levels, both independently and/or in teams
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Proven ability to thrive under pressure, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and deliver results within tight deadlines
Candidates with an academic background in project management, public health, business administration, or related fields are advantageous.
