Building Superintendent - Grocery Store

Overview:

A leading commercial general contractor is seeking a seasoned Senior Superintendent to lead on-site operations for high-impact construction projects. This leadership role is responsible for driving schedule, safety, quality, and subcontractor performance from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

Ground Up grocery store build a must !

Oversee day-to-day jobsite execution, subcontractor coordination, and material readiness

Maintain and update project schedules with team and trade input

Lead site meetings, track progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, SWPPP) and enforce quality standards

Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and warranty coordination

Provide input during preconstruction for scheduling, logistics, and risk mitigation

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects

Proficient in construction documents, sequencing, and trade coordination

Skilled in field technology platforms (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project)

OSHA 30 and SWPPP certification (or ability to obtain)

Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
