We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of over 200 field business units across the United States. This role is critical to ensuring that each location operates efficiently, safely, and in alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate within the Procurement function, the Facilities Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support business continuity, optimize facility performance, and enhance the employee and customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Facility Operations:

Oversee day-to-day facility management for over 200 field business units, including maintenance, repairs, and vendor management.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites.

Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

Vendor and Contract Management:

Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with third-party service providers (e.g., janitorial, HVAC, security, landscaping).

Evaluate vendor performance to ensure service quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to contract terms.

Budget and Cost Management:

Develop and manage the facilities budget, including operating expenses and capital improvement projects.

Track expenses, manage cost controls, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Real Estate Support:

Collaborate with the Director of Real Estate on lease management, site openings, relocations, and closures.

Provide input on space planning and office fit-outs to support business needs.

Procurement Integration:

Work closely with the procurement team to align facilities services with broader sourcing strategies.

Ensure the procurement of materials and services meets company standards for quality and sustainability.

Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities-related inquiries from field business units.

Provide regular updates to leadership on facility performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a multi-site or field-based environment.

Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and workplace safety regulations.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.

Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
