Department: Distribution Sales Division (DSD)

Assignment Category: Full-Time, Regular

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exempt

Reports to: DSD Manager

Schedule: Mon - Fri and Sun, from 10:00am-6:00pm. (Off on Saturday)

Position overview

The Picker/Packer will be responsible for sorting and moving materials and goods in a warehouse. They will be picking, inspecting and packing products according to the order slip. Along with labeling boxes, packing before shipment, stocking and restocking shelves in the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.

Sorting and moving materials and goods

Picking, inspecting, and packing products according to the order slip

Labeling boxes and packing materials before shipping

Stocking and restocking materials

Using computer systems and scanners to manage orders

Might operate pallet jacks or forklifts to transport goods

Follow safety practices throughout operations

Ensure warehouse and production goals are met.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities):

Computer literate

Able to read and know basic math

Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Some Heavy lifting is required

Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time

Ability to work in a cold/wet area.

Physical characteristics:

Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull weights 50lbs, up to 80 pounds
