Purpose of the Position/Position Overview

Buildcorp Direct is the distribution arm of Duraframe Solutions, designed to provide the construction industry with high quality products at unbeatable prices. Our online platform allows us to supply innovative solutions that decrease project expenses, while also increasing job-site efficiency. We offer a diverse inventory centered around steel framing and interior contracting supplies that suit projects of all sizes. Including connectors, anchors, hangers, clips, brackets, sound isolation products, doors, door frames, tools, and various framing solutions.

As the Inside Sales/E-Commerce Representative, you will be an integral part of Buildcorp Direct inside sales & customer sales support team. You will be office-based for handling incoming telephone calls and outgoing marketing phone communication, social media, as well as other sales related duties to increase e-commerce online sales. Duties such as quoting, providing technical assistance, and engaging with customers via Live Chat will be included. Will be working in a team with marketing manager for the online store, will be liaising with other departments, such as scheduling and shipping departments. Key Effectiveness Areas/Responsibilities

General Duties

Handle incoming telephone inquiries and Chat Line relating to Buildcorp product range, including stock availability, lead times, pricing, shipping, etc.

Monitor the Chat Line for incoming inquires, engage with customers to purchase, and drive e-commerce sales

Work closely with marketing rep as a team to build e-commerce sales, lead generation, customer sales support and quoting.

Marketing and social media posts to existing customers and new prospects.

Monitor and process, orders from customers using Quick Books Online.

Complete Customer quotes for Buildcorp products using Q.B. Online

Effectively use telephone, email, and social media to prospect for new leads to drive e-commerce sales.

Attend all Customer Sales support / Sales meetings.

Understand and oversee the warehouse process including, stock inventory and ordering process, keep inventory in Q.B Online up to date

Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to financial details and customer/supplier details.

Be accountable for your time. Lodge weekly KPI time sheets with your manager.

Understand and maintain correct protocols and SOPs when interacting with other staff, or customers and suppliers.

Other Sales Responsibilities:

Actively contribute ideas and solutions for the sales team, including the provision of market intelligence on competitor activities, products, applications, and prices.

Teamwork and Leadership Responsibilities:

Be prepared to learn. Call out for additional assistance immediately when a question comes up that you are not highly competent in responding to.

Ensure Customer Service team are efficient in the allocation of resources and tasks including backing up each member as required

Be a team player. Work with the Buildcorp Team for the good of the whole business.

Abide by communication protocol for all Buildcorp Team members.

Email & phone calls must be responded to promptly.

Manage time in an effective manner, such that all tasks are done in specific time zones each day. Request help if you are becoming overloaded.

Confidentiality is paramount. Any breach of trust will be regarded seriously & addressed in an appropriate manner by senior management. Anyone involved in the Buildcorp Team is required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Qualifications/Selection Criteria

Preferred knowledge:

0-1 year experience in an inside sales role.

Know and value the need for fanatical customer service

Understanding of basic e-commerce sales processes.

Understanding of basic principles for business success.

Proficient in Excel spreadsheets

Experienced in using Online Quick Books

Some knowledge of the construction industry.

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.

Knowledge of social media.
