SUMMARY

The Client Development Manager will be responsible for leading a dedicated team focused on developing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for business growth within our warehousing and transportation-based clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by proactively addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of client development professionals to achieve individual and team goals. Responsible for managing and developing a team centered around Client Development.

Strategic Growth Plans: Develop and implement strategic growth plans for target customers, identifying and prioritizing clients based on growth potential and potential service expansion.

Client Satisfaction & Business Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion within existing clients and develop strategies to attract new clients in the warehousing and transportation sectors. Focus on expanding wallet-share and service lines with high-potential clients.

Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze team performance metrics, providing regular reports and feedback to upper management. Coordinate Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) or Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) in collaboration with Operations.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and client needs.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless client experiences and integrated service offerings.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline required. Masters Degree preferred. Must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in client development, account management, sales, or operations - ideally in the warehousing and transportation sectors.

Travel:

Travel within the US up to 25% of the time.

Working Conditions:

Primarily located in a climate controlled office environment. Occasional exposure to outdoors and indoor warehouse environment with adequate ventilation. Occasional exposure to vibration, improperly illuminated or awkward and confining work spaces. Occasional working above ground level where the possibility of falling exists. Loud noises typical when present in a warehouse or outdoor environment.
