Century Group's manufacturing consumer product client is looking for a Payroll Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have payroll experience with intermediate Excel Skills and team player attitude. You will be responsible for compliance, reporting, payroll management, and employee relations. You will report directly to the VP of Human Resources. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Descriptions:
Ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws and tax obligations.
Complete payroll reports for record-keeping and managerial review.
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
Manage and maintain payroll records and files.
Handle full-cycle multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees.
Manage employee wage garnishment, tax levies, and support orders.
Coordinate termination procedures and conduct exit interviews.
Participate in employee performance reviews and facilitate disciplinary procedures.
Requirements:
Knowledge of federal and state regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Windows with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to handle sensitive information, work well with all levels of management, and manage complex projects under pressure.
Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related fields.
