RECEPTIONIST
Job Description:
Greet patients and visitors in a courteous professional manner. Direct guests to the designated location, according to their request
Ensure that the telephone is answered courteously, promptly, and professionally and that messages are handled efficiently
Maintain a daily resident listing
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries accordingly
Process daily incoming invoices, and log into a spreadsheet
Obtain approval/authorizations from Dept. Head/Administrator
Submit and track outgoing invoices to the Corporate Head Office
Complete/Review weekly AP reports
Update the Vendor’s contract as needed
Assist in duties related to the Business Office and other areas as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
High School graduate
Associate's degree (preferred)
Experience in Excel/Microsoft is required
Experience with various office equipment
Excellent communication/organizational skills
1-2 years experience in a nursing home (preferred)
