A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CNC PROGRAMMER

As a CNC Programmer, you will develop and improve manufacturing processes by working with the engineering and production department on continuous improvement initiatives. You will design, develop, release, and provide support for ABS conveying and blending equipment.

You'll generate CNC/Laser programs from SolidWorks and AutoCAD files and work in conjunction with the production staff and managers to ensure accurate and timely programming of laser/CNC machinery. You will update and revise drawing records according to approved engineering change requests to optimize manufacturing of parts and analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput. This position confers with vendors in determining product specifications and arranging equipment, parts, or materials purchase, and evaluating production according to quality standards and specifications as it relates to equipment, tooling and raw materials. Additionally, this position makes recommendations for changes with estimated return.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Associate's degree in related field

2 years of experience in machine programming

Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred)

WORK SCHEDULE AS A CNC PROGRAMMER

The typical schedule for this full-time position is Monday - Friday with weekends free!
