Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER (ENGINEERING AND PLANNING) in the OPERATIONS & BUSINESS BRANCH (CODE 201.1), ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT (EPD) OPERATIONS (CODE 201), ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT(CODE 200) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Responsibilities You will develop detailed operational and engineering program/project plans, tasks, milestone dates and schedules.

You will ensure program/project directions and schedules are accomplished in a timely manner in order to comply with all provisions and requirements.

You will evaluate the performance and success of the division by assessing and resolving Workload and Resource Report (WARR), forecasting and metrics.

You will oversee resource management for the Engineering and Planning Department including assessing the workload-workforce accuracy of the WARR for EPD work.

You will provide advisory services to the various EPD divisions in analyzing future workload, calculating workforce requirements, and executing new strategies for future workload-workforce requirements.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and executing engineering projects by identifying project resource requirements (e.g., budget, staffing, and facilities), creating short-term and long-term goals, and coordinating with shipyard leadership and multi-disciplined project delivery teams to ensure project deadlines are maintained to achieve shipyard operational objectives.
