Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced level Controls Engineer to develop automation cells, focusing on creating code from scratch rather than troubleshooting. This role involves working with ladder logic PLC structured text, designing circuitry for automation cells, and developing drawings to send out for vendor builds.
Responsibilities
Design and develop control systems for industrial applications using PLC, HMI, and other relevant technologies.
Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Engage in circuitry design for automation applications.
Collaborate on automation using Rockwell and other control engineering programs.
Program and design using Siemens PLC, Fanuc robotics, ROS, ROS2, MATLAB Simulink, and SCADA.
Assist in the creation of programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.
Essential Skills
PLC programming
Automation experience with Rockwell
Robotics and controls engineering
Experience with Siemens PLC, ROS, and SCADA
Proficiency in ladder logic and structured text
Electrical Engineering degree with lower voltage experience inside cabinets

Work Environment
Located in Carson City, the work environment is on a family-oriented campus with various buildings and an airport. The role requires 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options, such as starting at 6 am and leaving at 2 pm. The team includes 3 automation engineers, 3 technicians, and 1 controls engineer. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
