Urgently hiring 10 Microscope Assemblers in Santa Clara, paying up to $24.50/hr!

Job Description

We are seeking skilled R&D Assemblers to join our innovative pilot line, focusing on the assembly of electrical emitters within balloon-delivered catheters. This role requires prior assembly experience and a comfort level working under a microscope throughout the day. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with engineers and technicians, necessitating strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assemble and connect electrodes for electrical emitters inside balloon-delivered catheters.

Perform balloon catheter assembly tasks including length cutting, sealing, crimping, and folding.

Set up stations with necessary materials, tools, and instructions for line clearance.

Construct subassemblies and final assemblies based on detailed instructions.

Document all work completed on the lot with precision.

Assist in the development of next-generation products.

Install wires within the shaft and marker band using tweezers, snap gauge, pliers, and cutters.

Manually crimp shaft and wires.

Cut wires to length and crimp inner sleeves at the catheter's end.

Place emitters accurately and apply UV light and adhesive using Loctite.

Inspect and test emitters using a generator, micrometer, and visual inspection techniques.

Bond balloons to shafts using a welding machine.

Perform RX port forming tasks including mandrill loading and trimming.

Verify catheter length using a ruler from distal to proximal.

Conduct hub assembly tasks with Loctite UV curing.

Execute leak tests to ensure no liquid escapes.

Test pleat and fold techniques for balloon insertion in the shaft.

Heat seal the catheter tip using an oven.

Install the catheter's connection to the device for power.Essential Skills

Experience with medical devices, specifically balloon catheters and microscope usage.

Proficiency in GMP, MPI, and LHR protocols.

Ability to perform UV curing and hotbox processes.

Detailed knowledge of catheter assembly and related documentation.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience with true medical device class 3 procedures.

Competence in using Loctite adhesive and UV light curing systems.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, California.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
