JOB SUMMARY: CNC Operator is responsible for completing any and all functions of the support process as defined by engineering procedures. The operator will also perform tooling preparation, product preparation, movement, auditing, and documentation tasks in accordance with department operation procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Review and follows work specifications.
Measure and verifies product tolerances on the microview computer system.
Check the required tooling condition required to ensure product quality and adjust tooling as necessary.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines as required per maintenance schedule.
Report problems and out of specification conditions to supervisor as they occur.
Work closely with technicians and engineers on process improvement projects.
Flex to other jobs and departments on an as needed basis.
Assist in the training of new operators when needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School or Equivalent
Experience Years: 1-3 years
Experience Type: Manufacturing
OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
