This role will be responsible for supporting a variety of human resources functions, including employee engagement, benefits, leave of absence, and company culture. Responsibilities
Supports with leave of absence, accommodation requests, and worker’s compensation processing.
Assists in administering and communicating WRMC employee benefit programs, including health and life insurance, retirement plans, company holidays, and paid time off.
Processes benefit enrollments, changes, and coverage terminations.
Serves as point of contact for employee inquiries and assists in resolving issues.
Assists with the planning and execution of special events, such as open enrollment, employee recognition events, and holiday and birthday celebrations.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date personnel files, records, and documentation.
Provides additional support to the HR Department.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
Previous HR experience is preferred, but not required.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in or has the ability to quickly learn HRIS and other HR-related applications.
Strong ability to work collaboratively and provide exceptional employee support.
