Flat Cutter Operator

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Flat Cutter Operators for a client in Bartlett, IL. The Flat Cutter Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20-$24 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st Shift & 2nd Shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Flat Cutter Operator:

Reads and understands job jacket

Brings the job to be cut and sets up the cutter.

Loads the cutter and cuts as quickly and efficiently as possible when cutting and checks for offsetting-draw-mixed sheets

Maintains a clean and safe work area. Follows all safety and quality procedures

Reports all mechanical and safety issues to supervisor Required Qualifications of the Flat Cutter Operator:

High school diploma preferred.

Able to lift up to 40 pounds

Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
