This Position reports to:

The Global Account Manager is a high-level Sr. Account Management role where you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction for a large Global OEM.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work (SoW) growth actions.
Understand key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer's business and business environment and interprets the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.
Participate in the development of sales strategies; define and propose sales targets for the account and ensures their achievement through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries.
Sell products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets, representing ABB, overall.
Create added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, sales planning, and issue resolution).
Monitor competitors' activity with the account and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
Drive application of standardized marketing & sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, etc.) for the account.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years' relevant experience working as an Account Manager with a large OEM
Previous management and leadership experience preferred
Strong experience in portfolio management, business strategy, market intelligence, go-to-market strategy and pricing strategy
Skilled in business development & adoption, sales enablement and risk management
Knowledgeable in solution and/or application engineering
