Fraud Sr Manager, Cybersecurity: Defend the Digital Frontier!

Join our team and be the architect of our fraud defense, wrangling complex data from physical and digital selling channels, loyalty programs, and CIAM to build efficient preventions against evolving threats. You'll develop and implement strategies to manage fraud across all omni-channels, ensuring seamless and secure experiences for our valued customers while safeguarding our brand.

Responsibilities:

Own the technology strategy and architecture for fraud prevention related to AO (Account Opening) and ATO (Account Take Over) across the enterprise.

Analyze digital identity signals/telemetry across multiple channels (web, mobile, call center, in-store, PoS) to identify emerging fraud trends and vulnerabilities.

Design fraud KPIs, analyze fraud loss trends, and recommend policy or process enhancements to drive continuous improvement.

Develop, tune, and optimize fraud detection rules, signals, and scoring models to reduce false positives and enhance fraud prevention effectiveness.

Design and implement risk-based authentication (RBA), step-up verification, and identity proofing solutions to mitigate fraudulent access attempts.

Partner with customer care, cybersecurity, data science, and engineering teams to develop and deploy real-time fraud detection and prevention controls.

Collaborate with security and IAM teams to improve MFA, password-less authentication, and adaptive access policies.

Build automated fraud orchestration capabilities that adapt in real time to emerging threats.

Stay ahead of the latest fraud trends, including synthetic identity fraud, credential stuffing, bot driven ATO attempts, and AI/LLM driven actions.

Partner with external vendors and industry leaders to understand fraud attack patterns.

Work closely with engineering, product, and customer experience teams to integrate fraud prevention tools and strategies into customer authentication and onboarding flows.

Educate internal teams on identity fraud risks, tactics, and best practices to improve fraud awareness across the organization.

Represent the fraud team in critical initiatives, fraud working groups, and industry forums.

5+ years of proven experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or identity verification, with a focus on ATO and AO fraud.

Strong analytical and investigative skills, with hands-on experience using fraud detection platforms (e.g., ThreatMetrix, Pindrop, Sift, Forter, Socure, or similar).

Knowledge of fraud attack vectors, identity proofing, multi-factor authentication (MFA), behavioral analytics, and risk scoring models.

Experience working with digital fraud detection tools, device fingerprinting, biometric authentication, and behavioral analytics.

Strong SQL and/or Python skills for fraud trend analysis, data mining, and reporting.

Ability to collaborate across fraud, cybersecurity, risk, and product teams to enhance fraud controls.

Talent for translating real-world threats into countermeasure operations with internal and external teams.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate fraud insights into actionable business recommendation

Salary Target: 184k + Bonus
