Pay Rate Range: $40-44 / hr

EXTENSION/CONVERSION: Eligible

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Materials Test/Engineering Technician for our client in the Medical Device Industry. Great opportunity for someone with experience working in a lab and testing materials to contribute to developing first of its kind technology!

Develop and execute engineering test protocols.

Create data forms and tables, specify and procure test hardware, prepare samples, and document results.

Operate, monitor, and maintain equipment in R&D Lab and keep clean work environment.

Assist engineers and scientists as they create, modify, and test products and processes by working from diagrams, written instructions and verbal instructions.

Analyze test data and present results to engineers verbally and/or in writing.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

A 2-year technical degree, BA, or BS in engineering or physical sciences, or equivalent work experience.

At least 3 years of experience working in a test lab and executing test protocols.

Highly motivated self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and good documentation practices.

Experience with basic lab equipment and tools, including but not limited to, tensile testers, force gauges, load cells, multimeters, hand tools, inspection equipment, etc.
