Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Review and assess Accident & Health insurance applications by analyzing medical risk factors, verifying eligibility, and applying underwriting guidelines using web-based tools and approved medical criteria.
Collaborate with sales teams, third-party administrators, and vendors to ensure accurate processing, policy compliance, and timely decision-making, while supporting agent satisfaction and company objectives.
Serve as a subject matter expert for underwriting practices, support user acceptance testing, and assist with special projects, appeals, and employer change evaluations to maintain risk and profitability standards.
Here’s what you’ll have:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology/anatomy, health insurance market experience, and a Bachelor’s degree or relevant insurance-related background
