The IT Infrastructure and Service Desk Administrator will be responsible for providing assistance to internal customers. The IT Service Desk Administrator will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help customers install applications and programs. This job is in Glastonbury, CT.

*Job Summary*

* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications

* Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues

* Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, including account setup and network configuration

* Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal team members

* Follow up with customers to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after resolution

* Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers

* Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions

* Ensure all issues are properly logged

* Prepare accurate and timely reports

* Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and work instructions

* Prioritize and manage several open issues simultaneously

* Provide daily on-site support and remote support as needed

* Support on-site and remote company special events as needed

* Interface with audio/visual and other third-party vendors as needed

* Provide remote support after regular IT Help Desk hours on a rotating schedule

*Required Skills*

* Proven work experience as a Service Desk Administrator, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role

* Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments

* Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products

* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

* Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software

* Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

*Education/Experience*

* B.S. Information Technology

* 3+ years relevant IT experience

* Certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or similar technologies is favored

* Familiarity with Office 365, Windows 11, and Tanium is preferred

* Experience with audio/visual equipment is favored
