Summary:

The Project Manager works under minimal guidance, and in accordance with HBI project methodology, to provide leadership that promotes and supports the development, implementation and completion of small to medium size projects. These projects are typically characterized as having low to medium visibility and risk and involve one or more business lines and impact one or more software applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Works with business unit manager(s) and project sponsor to establish the project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule.

According to the direction of their manager, supports the IT team's assigned business segment goals by providing project management services.

Assembles project team and manages the project on an on-going basis to identify risks, implement changes, monitor and communicate progress.

Ensure team members are managed effectively and kept informed of all related issues.

Ensures project deliverables meet customer needs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

3+ years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Scrum Master certification from an accredited institution

2 years of experience in understanding of Agile methodologies

Project Management certification from an accredited institution

Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to Microsoft Project, JIRA, MS Excel, etc.

Highly organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Proven ability to create and analyze data to draw appropriate conclusions

Able to deal with ambiguity and navigate through complex situations
