Trading Operations Engineer

Operations - Credit, Equities & ETFs Trading

Our client is a top tier global proprietary trading firm building a team to support credit, equities, and ETFs trading operations. You'll be part of a strong operational team that manages processes from the ground up while working directly with trading desks to ensure seamless trade execution and settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

Support complete trade lifecycle from execution through settlement for U.S. corporate bonds, ETFs, and credit derivatives

Handle trade allocations, confirmations, and resolve breaks/fee discrepancies

Manage creation/redemption processes with Prime Brokers and issuers

Collaborate with Trading, Prime Brokerage, and Compliance teams on pre/post-trade workflows

Partner with software engineers to enhance systems and operational efficiency

Assist with counterparty and platform onboarding

Reconcile fees and ensure timely settlements with brokers and customers

Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field

Years in trade support/operations at broker-dealer, bank, or trading firm

Strong knowledge of bonds, ETFs, and/or credit derivatives

Deep understanding of trade lifecycle and settlement processes

Python scripting is highly preferred

Series 7/99 licenses preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
