APM Terminals plays an important role in enabling the global Maersk Ocean and Logistics network as well as serving other Shipping Lines, Beneficial Cargo Owners, Freight Forwarders, intermodal logistics providers and integrating with a wide variety of local port authorities, customs and government bodies across our global network of transshipment, import and export gateway terminals.

In support of the broader Maersk strategy, we are accelerating the transformation of our business from a portfolio of independently operated terminals into a safer, better, bigger global terminals operator

Key of responsibilities:

1. Kaizen Event Ecosystem

Facilitate problem-solving sessions and guide teams through structured improvement methodologies

Lead and support Kaizen events from planning to completion, ensuring sustainable improvements

2. Lean for All (LFA) Training & Coaching

Deliver Lean training programs and provide ongoing coaching to employees at all levels

Develop internal Lean capabilities and mentor future improvement champions

Support practical application of Lean tools and techniques in daily operations

3. Training Within Industry (TWI) & Standardization Program Support

Support identification and prioritization of areas requiring standardization, building on established TWI foundation

Define standardization frameworks and ensure proper planning, execution, and rollout of new standards

Monitor standard implementation impact on variation reduction and performance improvement through TWI methodologies

We are looking for:

An engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering or related field).

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operations Excellence

Proven track record of leading successful improvement initiatives and change management projects

Technical Skills

Deep understanding of Lean principles, tools, and methodologies (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, etc.)

Experience with problem-solving methodologies (A3, DMAIC, 8D, Root Cause Analysis)

Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and performance measurement

Knowledge of standardization practices

Soft Skills

Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills

Strong coaching and mentoring abilities

Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels

Change management expertise with experience in cultural transformation

Leadership capabilities with ability to drive results through others

Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)

Experience in terminal operations, logistics, or similar industrial environments

Previous experience in training design and delivery
