The project:
This is an opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art airport project in Doha. Mace have been delivering program management services on the airport for several years, increasing passenger capacity and improving overall services.
You’ll be responsible for:
Responsible for checking design output to ensure information is clear, achievable, buildable, conforms to preferred methods and is available to enable efficient procurement and construction of the works.
Reviewing structural and technical design submissions to assure and integrate consistently across projects.
Ensure all projects comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
Carries out role of Temporary Works Coordinator.
Monitor project progress against expected programmes and manage resource levels accordingly.
Develops and implements project specific dimensional control strategy.
Responsible for ensuring that company & project quality requirements procedures are implemented.
Interprets as-built surveys / installations are checked prior to construction of follow-on activities.
Manage the production of quality assurance information.
Provides leadership and comprehensive technical expertise to the project technical team.
You’ll need to have:
Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
Bachelors degree in a structural and/or civil engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Ensure all projects comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or equivalent.
Discipline specific professional registration preferred (Institute of Civil and/or Structural Engineers).
Full life cycle, major project, mixed-use asset experience.
