Position Summary
The Department of Theatre in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a non-tenure-track position teaching Voice Lessons Musical Theatre, to begin 8/20/25. The successful candidate will have experience with musical theatre, and college level teaching is preferred. The course, ‘Voice Lessons: Musical Theatre’ teaches practical instruction in vocal performance for musical theatre performers. In the form of voice lessons with a music theory component, this course introduces practical sight reading and aural skills to enable actors to prepare for musical theatre auditions and rehearsals. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship. Instruction will take place in-person at North Central’s main campus.
