Job Title: Material Coordinator

Job Description

The Material Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that manufacturing operations have the right materials at the right time, tracked in the ERP system for flawless execution of the weekly production plan. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position involves overseeing product movement across the production floor and maintaining effective communication with the production supervisor and manufacturing personnel. A successful candidate will be a team player who is self-motivated and excels in communication.

Responsibilities

Ensure material availability at the planned location.

Understand process flow to optimize material handling.

Document and utilize the ERP system effectively for material tracking.Essential Skills

Proficiency in inventory control and material handling.

Strong data entry skills.

Knowledge of supply chain management.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Two-year college degree (preferred).

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment (preferred).

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rensselaer, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
