Job Title: Packer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. The Packer will be responsible for preparing orders for shipment by accurately picking, packing, and labeling products according to company standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage

Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards

Assemble and fill boxes and other packaging containers

Maintain a clean and organized packing area

Follow all company packing procedures and standards

Track inventory and report any supply shortages

Work with other team members to meet daily production goals

Ensure proper handling of fragile items and hazardous materials when required

Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, tape machines)

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous warehouse or packing experience is a plus

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]

Good communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Basic math and organizational skills

Work Environment:

May involve exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, or fast-paced operations depending on the facility
