Job Description

Express Employment Professionals are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician. This candidate will specialize in commercial and residential preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities:

Repairing a walk-in cooler is essential for maintaining the quality and safety of stored products, especially in businesses such as restaurants, supermarkets, and food storage facilities.

Install, maintain, and repair various refrigeration and cooling systems.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge.

Perform welding and plumbing tasks as needed for system installation or repair.

Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.

Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Document service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their system needs.

Drive company vehicles to job sites as required.

Requirements:

3 years of experience as Industrial refrigeration Tech and Cooling systems

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.

Most pass a drug test and background check.

Familiarity with air conditioning systems and their components.

Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
