Job Description
The administrative LPN assists with the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the hospice office working under the supervision of the Executive Director. This role ensures smooth administrative processes, supports efficient operations and contributes to providing quality patient care by managing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Documentation
Prepare and maintain patient charts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Receive and process medical records.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data security.
Assist with scanning, printing and filing documents as needed.
Scheduling
Assist staff with scheduling, ensuring appropriate coverage for efficient operations.
Manage communication related to scheduling changes and updates.
Communication
Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide information to patients and staff.
Operation Support
Assist with onboarding new hires, particularly related to documentation and charting.
Contribute to implementing policies and procedures to optimize workflow and enhance efficiency.
