**BWXT is currently seeking an IT PC Analyst for its Erwin, TN location!**

The PC Analyst’s role is to support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all corporate PC related hardware and software while ensuring its optimal performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user training and assistance where required. The person will be required to research and remain up-to-date on upcoming operating systems, office automation software, and hardware trends. In addition, this role includes entry-level network support duties to maintain the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This role must be available after normal working hours to handle critical issues as needed.

**Essential Responsibilities/Duties:**

+ Builds, troubleshoots, and repairs hardware (printers, desktops/laptops, scanners, etc.).

+ Deploys and troubleshoots software.

+ Manages inventory of current computer systems, parts, and software.

+ Participates in implementing system security patches and software/firmware/system upgrades.

+ Decommissions systems in an approved and secure fashion.

+ Assists users with remote access issues.

+ Performs advanced troubleshooting and user desk-side support.

+ Provides basic networking support.

+ Remains current on trends in the IT industry regarding end-user systems and support techniques.

+ Assists System Admins with administration and support of data center infrastructure operations.

**Required Minimum Qualifications:**

+ High School Diploma/GED.

+ 2 years of related experience.

+ Must have working knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange.

+ Must have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems (present and near future).

+ Must have in-depth knowledge of office automation software used at the facility, such as Microsoft Office.

+ Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision.

+ Ability to organize workload for effective implementation.

+ Must possess proven strong customer skills.

+ Ability to function as an effective team member and adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.

+ Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

+ CompTIA A+ or CompTIA N+ certification.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[cust_salaryMin]] and $[[cust_salaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
