Structural Engineer

Our Houston client is seeking a Structural Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience to join their team. Working under the direction of Senior Engineer you will perform calculations and prepare design reports for steel and reinforced concrete structures and foundations.

Perform computer aided design.

Review calculations performed by others

Knowledge of U.S. Codes and standards required.

Review and comment on drawings to ensure compliance with design.

Industrial and Offshore design experience preferred

Field experiences considered a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasisfrom an ABET accredited university – required

Engineer in Training Certificate is desired.

Knowledge of appropriate software (MS Office, Teams, structural analysis programs), Risa/SACS experience is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
