Description
SRNL is seeking an Accounting Analyst to provide integrated support to the Travel function and its interfaces with travelers, travel providers, and other accounting functions. Specific duties include travel expense audit, reimbursement of staff, and tracking unique DOE reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and audit travel and relocation related documents submitted by staff, students, prospective employees, contractors, and guests.
• Ensure that all required receipt and supporting documentation are provided.
• Make audit decisions based on internal operating procedures.
• Document audit comments and close out audits in the required processing time.
• Assist with unique DOE travel reporting requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to travel population.
• Exhibit good oral and written communication skills to effectively and accurately present information and express ideas.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance+ 4-6 years relevant experience
For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is legally required
Requires proficiency in applying accounting principles, policies, procedures, and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
A basic knowledge and understanding of personal computers utilizing any of several generally accepted software applications to perform word processing, database management, spreadsheet, and graphic functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Concur travel software.
