Description:
The Intern, Digital is a part-time position that will have exposure to several areas within the marketing and communication department including website maintenance, article building, content calendar management, in-game highlights, and content brainstorming. The ideal candidate is organized, a problem-solver, creative, and has a strong passion for digital content. In-game support (some evenings, 6pm - 11pm) is required in addition to general office hours (9am - 5pm).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the digital team in covering home and away games
Ability to proofread, copy edit and build out articles for the team’s website and mobile app
Assist in the maintenance and update of the website and mobile app
Edit imagery and update graphic and photo templates
Clip and produce video highlights from broadcast and in-arena feeds for use across social and digital platforms
Contribute to writing copy for the team’s website and mobile app
Help ideate and execute content needs for website and mobile app
Help organize, update and maintain the Social and Digital content calendar
Qualifications:
Ability to work well within a team environment, yet comfortable completing tasks independently.
Self-starter with the ability to be creative within a structured environment.
Basic understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS), Photoshop and HTML
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.
Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.
Compensation & Perks:
In accordance with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the expected salary range for this position is $21-22/hr. Actual base pay will depend on employee’s experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Working Conditions:
This role is based on-site in our Seattle office and requires work to be performed in person. However, we do value flexibility as the business will allow, and offer occasional opportunities to work from home.
Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
