Description

Summary

The Regional Manager will travel extensively reviewing site locations and operations team performance. They will provide leadership, direction and training for those reporting to them in the automotive and commercial factory/warehouse environment. They may interface with leadership, quality, assembly, inspection and other groups for all warehouse activities. This position may also serve as a customer liaison, either proactively for projects or reactively for corrections and problem solving. This position promotes adherence to company policies and procedures and motivates employees to ensure continual improvement.

Skills

ISO 9001 awareness, IATF 16949 awareness, customer specific requirements, print reading, calibration, supervisory and leadership skills, problem solving, 5S, job processing, scrap analysis, layered process auditing, reporting.

Safety

Can be a fast paced, stressful environment, standing, lifting, chemical contact (non-hazardous), eye safety, hearing safety where excessive noise is present, electrical safety in certain jobs.

Education

High School Degree, Some College Preferred, Industrial Engineering a plus

Technical

MS Office Proficiency, Blueprint Reading

Experience

Minimum five years in manufacturing with quality related experience
