Job Title: HSE Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Manager to oversee and implement organizational environmental and safety programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and implement organizational environmental and company safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Facilitate, manage, and track all required safety training programs including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), NFPA 70e Arc Flash, and more.
Plan and implement training programs for managers and employees on correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials.
Facilitate and manage safety auditing programs and evaluate new or modified equipment.
Oversee the company forklift/industrial truck safety program.
Inspect organization facilities to detect hazards and determine corrective or preventative measures.
Develop or provide input to hazardous material communications and maintain material safety data sheets (MSDS/SDS).
Implement or recommend control measures for exposure to hazardous materials or conditions.
Lead accident and injury investigations, preparing materials and evidence for organizational use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
Compile and submit accident reports required by regulatory agencies.
Interface and indirectly report to Regional HSE management.
Maintain OSHA 300 and 300A logs.
Oversee the company First Responder program, ensuring adequate training and qualifications.
Develop and implement a program and system to track and evaluate worker injuries.
Maintain working knowledge of new industry developments and government regulations.
Maintain workers' compensation files and records.
Monitor the company's health standards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Support departmental 6S activities.
Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in Japanese Automotive is a plus
Work Environment
The role is situated within a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, specifically within the automotive industry. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
