CNC Programmer/Machinist Lead

Job Description

Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines (primarily vertical and/or horizontal mills)

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files

Create programs using [e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, etc.]

Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for materials and parts

Perform setups, make offsets, and ensure first-article inspections meet specifications

Maintain tolerances to within +/- [e.g., .0005"]

Monitor machine performance and perform routine maintenance

Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative on improving processes
