Machine Helper Job Responsibilities:

Operates metal processing machines. (Slitter, we will train you!)

Follows direct instructions from Machine Operator

Reviews instructions to ensure accurate production

Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping

Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task

Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects

Maintains a safe and clean workstation

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Work Hours & Benefits

Performance BONUS

Second Shift 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Full Time Position

401K with 3% match

5 days paid PTO (Personal Time Off), accrued with worked time

10 days paid Vacation, accrued with worked time

Machine Helper Skills/Qualifications:

Excellent coordination and mechanical skills

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in math

Basic computer skills are a plus!

Forklift operation is a plus!

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent

Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly

Working knowledge of safety protocols

Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred, but not mandatory

Be able to work on US
