We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and support financial decision-making across the organization. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee daily accounting activities, ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, and mentor a team of skilled professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, including variance analysis
Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Ensure internal controls are maintained to protect financial data integrity
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable financial insights
Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors during audits and tax preparation
Drive process improvements and help implement automation solutions and ERP upgrades
Remain up to date on accounting regulations, best practices, and industry trends
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise) highly preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Background check required
Preferred Experience:
CPA or MBA
Experience with ERP implementation or process automation initiatives
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
Occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, stoop, or crawl
Must be able to lift/move up to 15 lbs frequently and up to 30 lbs occasionally
Visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
May be exposed to moderate office noise levels
