Worksite Location: Fergus Falls, MN or Mendota Heights, MN

Compensation: $75,000-88,000 annually

What you’ll do as the Senior Accountant:

Prepare monthly journal entries in accordance with GAAP

Assist with the management and reconciliation of the general ledger

Compile monthly balance sheet supporting documentation and assist with P&L review

Manage the fixed asset system including capital expenditures and policies

Prepare/Update standard operating procedures and the internal control structure

File Sales and Use Tax Returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual filings)

Perform monthly inventory process

Perform internal audit processes

Perform financial analysis activities such as product profitability, cost accounting duties, etc.

Assist with the preparation and distribution of weekly/monthly financials

Assist with preparation of schedules and working papers for annual financial statement audits

What you’ll bring to the Senior Accountant role:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

3+ years of relevant accounting experience

Experience with ERP systems

Strong knowledge of Excel formulas and functions to manipulate data

Ability to work with all levels of employees

Strong analytical problem-solving skills

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times

Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task

Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Ability to handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information

Excellent communication skills both oral and written
