[What the role is]We are seeking a driven candidate with a strong interest in environmental public health to support the management of Project Wolbachia and other multidisciplinary research programmes at NEA’s Environmental Health Institute (EHI). You will assist programme leads with coordination of programme strategy; planning and management of resources; tracking of deliverables, development of collaborations and agreements; and communication of research outcomes to a variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine project management capabilities and be a team player to foster partnerships across NEA and other government agencies.
[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for the following:
Support proactive engagement of community partners, e.g., Advisers, GRLs, community volunteers, residents, and NEA public health officers.
Support outreach and communication initiatives to build meaningful partnerships with communities and stakeholders.
Provide support for secretariat and administrative duties including procurement, logistics coordination, invoicing, and billing processes.
Support EHI’s internal and external capacity-building activities.
Support Learning Journeys and visits to EHI’s research facilities.
Manage feedback from stakeholders and public.

Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in community engagement or social service or customer service work
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time
Detail-oriented and able to multitask
Able to work outside regular working hours (on weekends or after office hours) to perform community engagement work
