Shift: Monday to Friday; 4:45pm to 1:15am
A Spiral Binding Operator is a highly motivated individual who drives customer success by ensuring superior quality of all produced documents in the Spiral Binding Production workflow. The spiral coil binding method uses a spring-like coil to join the book’s cover and pages as a unit that allows the pages to turn freely. Spiral Bound books lie flat for hands-free reading, making Spiral Binding a great choice for instruction, school books, repair manuals, cookbooks, handbooks, guides, and other reference materials. Spiral coils come in a variety of diameters to accommodate books of varying thicknesses.
Key Responsibilities
Read and comprehend the job instructions (QA Checklist), which may include: general instruction, special Instructions, and change orders
Understand the SpiralBinding Workflow for completing customer’ orders
Responsible for completing other product workflow finishing services as required
Meet or exceed production goals set by the management team
Ensure adherence to all documented processes and procedures
Others tasks as assigned
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Must be dependable, flexible and have the ability to work overtime with little or no notice (required)
Entry-level computer experience (required)
Patience and focus with high attention to detail (required)
Able to manage time efficiently to meet hourly goals (required)
Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Ability to perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination as well as dexterity
Focused on accomplishing a given task. Must be goal-oriented and organized
