Database Architect

Designs and builds relational databases, data warehouses, and/or data-marts for storage, processing, and/or decision support. Develops strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition, and archive recovery. Implements business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies. Defines user interfaces and functional specifications. Responsible for verifying accuracy of data, and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse. Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data. May evaluate new data sources for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration.

Requires:

Bachelor's degree

10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

May lead and direct the work of others.

Typically reports to manager.

Flexible work from home options available.
