About The Position

Job Title: Correctional Nurse Practitioner Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a primary care setting or hospital medicine License: Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Ohio Certifications: Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification, Board certification, Drug Enforcement Administration certification Must-Have: Family or adult-gerontology Nurse Practitioner Description: We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide on-site services full-time to the male population in a correctional facility. The preferred schedule is five 8-hour shifts per week, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. There is flexibility with the schedule and start/end times based on operational needs. The assignment is projected to last at least 6 months. A comprehensive resume including education, training, and work history is required. Candidates must hold a valid Ohio license and possess the necessary certifications. Upon offer, drug and TB test documents will be required for review before the start date.
