About The Position

Job Title: Correctional/Nurse Practitioner Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 6 months, potential for extension Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in a primary care setting or hospital medicine License: Must be licensed to work in Ohio Certifications: Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification, board certification Must-Have: Drug Enforcement Administration certification (if available) Description: Searching for a family or adult-gerontology nurse practitioner. The role involves providing on-site primary care services on a part-time basis to the male population in a correctional facility. The schedule consists of four five-hour shifts per week. There are no evening, weekend, or holiday shifts. Some flexibility in start and end times is available. Candidates with experience in a primary care setting are preferred. All required credentialing documents must be prepared for submission. If an offer is extended, prior drug and TB test documentation will need to be provided for review before the start date.
