**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** Hematology Oncology**Job Duration:** Full-Time or Part-Time**Shift:** Days - Traditional Schedule: Clinic 4 days/week, 1 administrative day/week (remote) + 1:4 inpatient call**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Accepting new graduates and experienced physicians**License:** Ohio license (or willing to obtain)**Certifications:** - Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship) or Board Certified in Hematology- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology**Must-Have:** Clean malpractice and license**Job Description Seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a comprehensive, accredited regional cancer center.- Serve over 1,200 new patients per year.- The center is undergoing complete renovation, including expansion of the onsite lab and pharmacy, addition of nine new state-of-the-art exam rooms, eight infusion bays, and upgrades to the linear accelerator, including replacement of the CT Simulator.- Traditional Schedule: Clinic 4 days/week, 1 administrative day/week (remote) + 1:4 inpatient call OR alternative schedules like 3-12's, week on/off, etc. + inpatient call will be considered.- Patient mix: 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology, with common cases such as breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancer.- Work in a care team model with the support of a dedicated RN, MA per physician, and 2 NPs.- Chemo-certified RNs available for inpatient chemotherapy administration.- Onsite Services include Radiation Oncology, Infusion Therapy, Lab, Pharmacy (with a board-certified oncology pharmacist), Genetic Counseling, Clinical Financial Navigation, Nutrition Services, Clinical Trials, Tumor Registry, GYN-Oncology, Social Work, and a broad general surgery program with specialty services in ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Pulmonology, and GI.- Hospitalist service for admissions.- Access to eConsult services and eTumor Boards through a larger network collaboration.- Practice and team provide a supportive environment with autonomy and input on scheduling, volumes, and practice operations.- Provides time for patients who respect the care they receive.- Local administration makes all decisions.- Leadership values input and actively seeks it from team members.- Strong specialist support is available as needed.- Opportunity to provide and receive mentorship.- Accepts H1B visa candidates.- Offers a range of benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, disability insurance, vacation and sick time, and professional development resources like CME stipend and tuition reimbursement.
