Intake Coordinator
A Great Opportunity / Full Time / $17.50-$18.50 per hour Through a wide range of innovative services referred to as ViaQuest's Circle of Care, our skilled, dedicated employees ensure that the people we serve are active participants in their own care.
ViaQuest offers quality, highly-personalized, specialized and cost-effective care, solutions and services through Hospice, Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions, Day & Employment Services, and Residential Services.
Responsibilities may include:
Maintain tracking and enter data for assigned tasks on the computer.
Maintain complete, accurate and accessible client and company files within the electronic medical records system.
Complete all necessary intake forms and procedures.
Ensure that insurance verification is completed.
Know and understand Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances.
Follow up with appropriate contacts if the referral information is incomplete.
Understand and communicate reimbursement issues to the appropriate persons.
Notify patients, families, referral sources and all other applicable parties regarding insurance coverage and payment responsibilities.
Ensure all documentation needed to bill is obtained.
Requirements for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in/knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement guidelines.
Excellent customer service and communication skills and attention to detail.
