Python Developer – Linux Systems

Location: Philadelphia, PA (relocation available)

We’re seeking a hands-on Python Developer who thrives in Linux environments. If you enjoy building automation, streamlining systems, and solving problems with clean code this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based solutions on Linux systems

Build automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency

Support and maintain production applications and internal tools

Recommend and implement improvements and best practices

Assist with file transfer infrastructure enhancements, bug fixes, and testing

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

3+ years of professional experience using Python and shell scripting

Required: Strong current work experience in Linux/Unix systems

Experience with scripting (Bash/Shell) and handling large data sets

Familiarity with relational databases and cloud technologies is a plus

Understanding of file formats and transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, etc.)

Experience testing and debugging tools in high-throughput environments a plus!
