Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, business, compliance).

Knowledge of compliance program management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control frameworks.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, executive management, regulators, and external stakeholders.

Ability to apply a proactive mindset to identify potential risks, develop innovative solutions to ensure ongoing compliance, and mitigate potential issues.

Ability to apply strong problem-solving capabilities to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations.

Ability to analyze fragmented information, identify key attributes, and develop recommendations.

As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. You develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization. Risk, Compliance and Integrity organization (RCI) brings together critical compliance, assurance, risk and governance functions across Google to help the company meet compliance needs and enable our businesses to innovate. The goal is to make compliance an engaging advantage for Google by driving scaled, data-driven, and policy-based compliance programs. We manage the operations through risk-based prioritization and governance and consistent and constructive regulator engagement.

In this role, you will lead and elevate our compliance program. You will have an understanding of compliance frameworks, risk assessment, and internal controls,and collaborate effectively across the organization and influence at all levels with respect to privacy and security areas of law.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000-$235,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive compliance programs across multiple product areas driving consistency and efficiency across the company.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional program teams ensuring alignment on program goals, timelines, and successful delivery of business, operational, and technical improvements for multiple compliance programs.

Advocate for programs, effectively communicate program status and impact to executive stakeholders, and ensure alignment on objectives.

Enhance awareness of compliance requirements and best practices, translating insights into actionable recommendations and planned initiatives. Partner with product areas to define and continuously optimize comprehensive compliance strategies for new and existing products.

Conduct risk assessments, proactively identify potential compliance gaps, and develop and implement mitigation plans.
