Job Title: Production Machine Operator/Assembler

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

The Production Machine Operator/Assembler will work under the guidance of senior operators to learn and perform a variety of tasks related to machine operation, part assembly, and quality assurance. This position involves hands-on work with equipment, blueprints, and raw materials to meet production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machines, equipment, and production fixtures following guidance from senior operators.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to determine instructions and part specifications.

Monitor the inventory of chemicals, materials, and supplies needed for production processes.

Assemble parts and raw materials according to blueprints, meeting both quality and quantity objectives. May operate soldering equipment as needed.

Align and position parts in specified relationships, ensuring precision and accuracy.

Verify part accuracy using measuring equipment and gauges.

Complete and maintain necessary production paperwork.

Understand and strive to meet daily production goals and targets.

Perform quality checks on parts or adjust processes to ensure optimal manufacturing results.

Rotate through various departmental jobs as assigned within the classification.

Participate in required training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Maintain adherence to safety and quality standards.

Take on special projects as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail.

Good or corrected eyesight to ensure the quality of work.

Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.

Comfortable working with a variety of glues, solvents, and chemicals.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Basic math skills for addition and subtraction of 2-3 digit numbers.

Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, engineering drawings, and company policies.

Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) eligibility requirements.
